Yating Zan is from China. She started learning and practicing the Guzheng at the age of 8, pusrsuing later on related university studies.

The Guzheng, one of China’s unique traditional national musical instruments, has a history of 3,000 years. The Guzheng is characterized by “rhyme” and can be played with various techniques such as portamento. It is considered to produce a euphemistic and moving sound when played that brings comfort and serenity.
