Βαγγέλης Πετικάς

Vagelis Petikas is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Athens, Greece, with more than 15 years of experience in illustration and graphic design, specializing in album artwork and cover illustration.

Throughout his career, he has collaborated with over 50 bands and artists from Greece and abroad, with a primary focus on the heavy metal and rock music scene.

His distinctive visual style draws inspiration from the art of engraving, while his influences include Renaissance artists and the Art Nouveau movement, resulting in highly detailed and atmospheric compositions.

Among his projects, he has created artwork and designs for internationally acclaimed artists and bands such as Metallica, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Avenged Sevenfold, Jerry Cantrell, Alter Bridge, Myles Kennedy, A Perfect Circle, Queens of the Stone Age, Sevendust, Lenny Kravitz, Mammoth WVH, Nightrage, Cruachan, and Grand Magus, among many others. As both a freelance illustrator and designer, Vagelis continues to work with artists, bands, promoters, and brands worldwide, creating distinctive visual identities, album covers, posters, merchandise, and promotional artwork.
